The NFC West had three teams finish the season with at least 12 wins. It's the first time that's happened in NFL history.
The NFL playoffs continue Saturday night with the top-seeded Seattle Seahawks (14-3) hosting the No. 6 seed San Francisco 49ers (12-5) at Lumen Field in Washington ( 8 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app ). It's the third time the Seahawks and 49ers have met this season, with the two sides splitting the season series.
With the Rams and 49ers both winning on Wild Card Weekend, that means the NFC West will now be sending three teams to the divisional round this year. San Francisco and Los Angeles will be joined by the Seattle Seahawks, who earned a bye to the divisional round as the No. 1 overall seed in the NFC.
After a thrilling wild-card round on the NFC side, we officially have a final four in the conference during these 2026 playoffs. There's a pretty obvious theme to this group of four teams. That is, if you've been paying even the slightest bit of attention over the course of this long season.
