Luis Diaz has been speaking to the media for the first time as a Bayern Munich player and has revealed how he met one of the club's legends before securing an exit from Liverpool

The Colombian winger was touted as the Senegalese superstar’s successor at Anfield, having arrived at the club six months before Mané’s departure in 2022. Díaz had his struggles in the wake of a scintillating first few months, but leaves the club off the back of his best season in Liverpool colours.

As reported earlier this week, Bayern Munich has finally completed the signing of Colombian forward Luis Díaz in a deal worth €75 million ($88 million). The arrival of Bayern’s newest star forward, however, also raises questions over the future of star talent Paul Wanner.
