The episode had already been delayed a day by the memorial for former President Jimmy Carter. As wildfires blazed across Los Angeles, General Hospital issued a content warning for Wednesday's scheduled episode and several subsequent ones,

“In light of current events” — meaning, the fast-moving wildfires, including the devastating Palisades Fire that has ravaged the coast since Tuesday — “today’s episode of General Hospital (and several that follow) may prove too difficult to watch for some,” the advisory continued.
