For months, Tesla shareholders were tormented by Elon Musk’s role in the administration of President Donald Trump. But any relief brought by his formal government exit last week quickly turned to fear as the electric-vehicle maker’s chief executive traded barbs with his former boss.

Tesla shares rose on Friday as investors took some comfort from White House aides scheduling a call with CEO Elon Musk to broker peace after a public feud with U.S. President Donald Trump.

Just like Tesla, Trump Media’s shares fell sharply on Thursday afternoon as Musk publicly sparred with the president and backed calls for his impeachment.
