Duke Blue Devils star Cooper Flagg has become the talk of the NBA without even stepping foot on the court as a professional just yet, but come June the freshman sensation will likely hear his name called first in the NBA Draft when the Dallas Mavericks are on the clock.
The Dallas Mavericks won the lottery. Entering the day with a 1.8% chance of landing the top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, they overcame the odds and earned the right to pick Duke star Cooper Flagg next month, beating out more favored teams like the Utah Jazz, Washington Wizards and Charlotte Hornets.
The Sixers have a 42.1% chance of moving into the top four and a 10.5% chance of landing the No. 1 overall pick. However, they also have a 26.7% chance of falling to seventh and losing their pick.
