C aitlin Clark missed her fifth consecutive game on Wednesday due to a right groin injury, but her teammates once again had her back. The Indiana Fever held off the Phoenix Mercury in a high-scoring affair at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, 107-101, to extend their winning streak to three games.

Indy claimed its third straight win on Wednesday, beating the Phoenix Mercury 107-101 despite yet again being without the injured Caitlin Clark.

Despite Clark being out, the Fever have remained afloat. Currently, they hold a 14-12 record and are trying to keep themselves within striking distance of the playoffs. While the fans and Indiana have been patient with Clark, she is facing major backlash after her latest off the court move.
