According to 49ers reporter Grant Cohn of Sports Illustrated, Aiyuk was talking to Hall of Famer Terrell Owens during Wednesday’s minicamp session. Cohn reports that Owens “lectured” Aiyuk for 15 minutes, with fellow 49er legends Patrick Willis and Frank Gore also present for the discussion.

That being said, one San Francisco insider has suggested that the team pursue a blockbuster trade that would involve sending Aiyuk out of town. Sports Illustrated analyst Grant Cohn believes that the 49ers should try to acquire Terry McLaurin from the Washington Commanders. He thinks Aiyuk could be sent to the Commanders as part of the deal.

The San Francisco 49ers have already made one major change to their receiving corps this offseason and now a second move has been urged, but one that would reel in a much greater reward.
