Although we had fun, I was disappointed in the overall experience. It's expensive and somewhat run down. Upon arrival I was upset to find that there was a parking charge but no posted amount (no s… Full review by Kathryn C
How long are the dolphin show and the sea lion and penguin show? I am trying to figure out if we can fit in a dolphin swim, sea lion encounter and both shows based on the times offered for each. Thanks in advance.
is it worth your time and money on the encounter with dolphins show? If we don't buy any of the interactive events, is there anything good thing to see there with just the admission ticket? How long should we spend our time there? we have the oahu card. we can get in for free right? Thanks, Hoa

We didn’t do the dolphins but definitely worth a visit. The luau is great and you can do that while you are there too. Yes use the Go card.
What time of day are the Sea Lion and Dolphin Shows? Thanks!

Aloha! I just spoke with an employee of Sea Life Park to make sure my information is correct. I was told that both the Sea Lion show and Dolphin show are available 7 days a week. The Sea Lion show is at 11:15 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily. The Dolphin show is at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. The shows are included in your general admission fee. After our swim with our dolphin, we were amazed and thrilled by the Dolphin show. It is a privilege to be with and spend time watching these amazingly intelligent, magnificent creatures! Go and have an experience that will give you years of wonderful memories.
Hi there, How much time do you think we should reserve to go through the entire park?

It really depends on how much energy your kids have (ages?, what extras you want to enjoy (for cost), and what shows you want to see. There are two dolphin shows. I strongly suggest the big shaded one. At the end of the show, they invite any kids who want to get splashed to come down near the tank. The dolphins flip their tails as they circle the tank, making the kids wet. I regretted not doing this first as the kids got soaked, which would have helped them stay cool the rest of the day. THe other dolphin show is more open and not that much different than the first. But, immediately after the show, a limited number of tickets are sold to feed the dolphins. If your kids are interested in this, sit to the far right of the stands as you face the water. Near the end of the show, one of the adults should leave and go to the area where the tickets are sold. Then they take those kids (with you, of course) to a little area where the kids are given fish to hold out for the dolphins. Our kids weren't that impressed but then they live in Hawaii and have been to this place many times. The one attraction the kids always love is the bird pavillion where they can hold seed sticks out for the birds to eat. All the while, birds are landing on their heads... fun... they love it. Look at what is available before you go. Decide what you might like to do, then I suggest you get there early before the sun is brutal. Plan your time around how much you want to do. As Isaid, it depends on how old your kids are. Tips: Wear hats -- the sun is hot Use sunscreen -- you are right by the ocean. Take water -- the options aren't great for food.k Go early to make sure you get to the shows you want. The park is small. Nothing at all like Disneyland. If your kids have short attention spans and you don't go to a lot of shows, you can do it in 2 hours. But I think it's pricey and like to get as much in for my dollar as possible. But it's not an all day thing. Just go an enjoy looking out on the ocean. By the way, the aquarium at Waikiki is very nice for kids. Let me know if you have more specific questions. I hope that helped!
