You cannot go in and see it because it is still being used, but you can drive up to it. It is a very unusual shaped lighthouse also known as Charleston Light and was built in 1962. Its the last light… Full review by Lisa J

We just drove by for quick photo from the passenger seat. I knew it wasn’t a lighthouse that could be visited but wanted a photo of this modern lighthouse. There were national park signs on buildings… Full review by chelslynne

Does anyone know what time the light shines? I'd live to see it, but it sounds like it only lights once per night. Thanks!

At night the lighthouse displays a beam of light which consists of a 0.2 second flash, a 4.8 second eclipse, another 0.2 second flash, and a 24.8 second eclipse.
